Tropical storm Ondoy (International Name: Ketsana) hit Luzon and parts of Metro Manila on Saturday, September 26 and brought flood, jammed traffic, landslides, and deaths.

6ft-deep flood waters caused cars to stall in the middle of highways. People were stranded 24 to 48 hours due to lack of public transport and impassable traffic. Residents were forced to stay on the rooftops of their houses due to submerged first- or second-floors.

After the devastating effect wreaked by Typhoon Ondoy, another super typhoon, Pepeng is threatening the still traumatized calamity victims.

Many have lost almost all of their belongings accumulated through out the years. They are still trying to salvage what they can… damaged homes, cars, gadgets, appliances, furnitures, even clothes. Their only consolation is that they are still with their loved ones… safe and alive.
